German Performance Options (GPO Tuning)
GPO Tuning, one of Nashville’s top European Car Performance & Maintenance Shops, came to Conversion First Marketing back in 2017 needing a website built with a focus on SEO. Specializing in Performance Tuning, Maintenance, and Repair of VWs, Audis, BMWs, and other German Auto Vehicles, German Performance Options (aka “GPO Tuning”) makes it their mission to provide every customer with the most professional experience. The experts at GPO Tuning have been serving the Middle TN since 2003.
The Challenge
In 2017, the owners at GPO Tuning knew they needed a website. Since having a website and being active on social media was crucial to be competitive in their industry, they reached out to Conversion First Marketing for help. The owners of GPO Tuning knew they had no time to build a website themselves, let alone understand how to create a website that not only represented their brand, visually, but that customers would be able to find on Google.
The Solution
CFM created a custom website for GPO Tuning making sure to complete keyword research and writing SEO content in all of the right places. The website went live in 2017 and traffic was immediate. The following year, the owners of GPO Tuning reached out to CFM again for an ongoing SEO campaign to increase their website traffic and expand the types of vehicles they wanted to service and performance tune.
At the beginning of 2020, like other businesses that were affected by COVID, the team at GPO Tuning realized that a PPC (Pay-per-click) campaign would likely help bring in extra traffic that was lost due to the fact that everyone was encouraged to stay at home.
GPO Tuning adjusted their internal processes to ensure they were meeting COVID-19 safety guidelines and through the continuing SEO campaign and the new PPC campaign, the business started to recover and even exceed the incoming business of previous months before COVID hit.
To date, GPO Tuning’s website traffic from Organic, New Users has increased by 20% compared to the previous 6 months. All of their contracted keywords are ranking on Page One in Google with many of them in the top half of Google’s page one search results. Other non-contracted terms have also performed well with an astounding 11 keywords ranking in position #1 in Google.
